Students will receive an overview of "dos" and "don'ts" for writing the thesis and contextualization and review the general requirements for each one according to College Board. Students will then go through prompts and examples of thesis and contextualization attempts; the students will work together to determine whether or not each one is good, and then the teacher will reveal the answer and explain what is right or wrong about each one. At the end, students will have an opportunity to practice in pairs with the teacher providing feedback.

Students will then go through prompts and examples of thesis and contextualization attempts; the students will work together to determine whether or not each one is good, and then the teacher will reveal the answer and explain what is right or wrong about each one. At the end, students will have an opportunity to practice in pairs with the teacher providing feedback.
